VICTORIA - At halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game, the UVic Vikes men's rowing will be recognized for their Canadian University Rowing Association championship with a banner raising ceremony.
In early November, the Vikes won their fifth CURA national title and head coach Howie Campbell was presented CURA Coach of the Year.
The Vikes previous titles came in 1997, '98, '00 and '01.
The Vikes won the eight, captured silver in the pair, won bronze in both the lightweight double and four, and had fourth place finishes in the single and lightweight single.
