The history of UVic Vikes Athletics is one of excellence. Few universities in Canada can match the championship success of the Vikes program and this is a direct reflection on the many high quality student-athletes who have represented UVic.
In order to recruit championship calibre student-athletes, UVic must be competitive in offering athletic scholarships and support to our student-athletes. UVic has several programs and annual events targetted specifically to raising funds for athletic scholarships.
Being a varsity student-athlete requires a significant commitment, in terms of time and energy throughout the entire academic year, and leaves little time for part-time employment. UVic is committed to offering our student-athletes an enviroment where they can achieve the highest degree of excellence and focus on academics and athletics.
Below you will find detailed programs how UVic supports its student-athletes and opportunities for you to join our team of supporters and further the “
Traditon of Champions”.
